“For it is by grace you have been SAVED, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
Eph.2:8
Rhema - Amazing Grace:
John Newton who wrote Amazing grace knew what he was talking about. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I am found, was blind, but now I see. Grace helps us to see, walk through life without seeing is though. It is better when you have a staff that helps you on the right path. The grace God gives us is that staff. It guides you on the right way and you trust it to do so. Like you have to trust God. Grace is a matter of life or death.
“I became a servant of this Gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of his power.”
Eph. 3:7
At Christmas morning everyone is excited about what’s under the Christmas tree; A lot of gifts. Did my mum and dad buy me what I wanted? God’s grace has disappeared this day; the greatest gift of all. Yes, grace is a gift from our father. He wants to give me and you eternal life. He has the ultimate present! The best present and it cannot fit under the Christmas tree. Would you accept this gift? Grace is a gift, why wouldn’t we want to share it? Are we selfish? Do we want to have the grace for ourselves? The great thing about grace is that you don’t lose your own grace by helping others receive it. One of the verses in Amazing Grace Sais:
“When this flesh and heart shall fail,
and mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.”
And wouldn’t we like our friends a part of that journey? Who doesn’t want to give their friends a life of joy and peace?
I think it is written in a good way in 1.Pet.4:10
“Each one should use
Whatever gift he has received
To serve others, faithfully
Administering God’s grace
In its various forms.”
